CCleaner e un curatator de fisiere temporare si urme de folosire a programelor (adica curata lista de fisiere deschise recent de diverse aplicatii). E inofensiv si foarte util pt o curatare automatizata.

Singura belea e faptul ca UAC-ul Vista nu are alta treaba decat sa intrebe la fiecare pornire a lui daca sa ii permita sau nu functionarea. Si cum CCleanerul e setat sa ruleze la fiecare pornire a windowsul pe sistemul tatalui meu iti dai seama cat de mult am ajuns sa urasc UAC. Eu ma ocup de intretinerea laptopului (scanare AV, update Windows, update antispyware, update browser si extensii browser) asa ca restarturile sunt necesare.

Opera 10, e şi în română

Skinul arată drăguţ. Rămâne să ne obişnuim cu Româna acum, eu încă mai caut "Open in new tab". 
Opera Turbo în schimb mi se pare o opţiune interesantă, o să mă joc cu ea puţin mâine să văd ce ştie.

Eu nu m-am prins de un' se scoate chestia aia cu ortografia, am căutat şi-n meniuri şi-n opera:config, mă calcă pe nervi

A, şi skin-ul clasic nou nu-mi place

Ok, deci turbo n-am apucat sa vad ce ştie, însă ştie să-mi spună că reţeaua este rapidă şi să-l ţin închis pentru performanţe.  În schimb versiunea nouă n-a fost optimizată în ceea ce priveşte consumul de resurse, 308Mb ram folosiţi pentru nouă taburi mi se pare mult. Bine, şi pe firefox am 5 taburi şi îmi ia 77Mb, dar de la Opera aveam aşteptări mai mari în sensul ăsta. Nu că m-ar avantaja cu ceva, ram este de unde să-i dau că-i ieftin acum, dar nah.

Mi-a crăpat la un moment dat, s-a blocat şi atât. Şi nici măcar nu era crash testing. N-am avut ce-i face decât să-l închid din task manager şi să-l repornesc. Ciudat totuşi, de vreo 5 luni lucrez cam cu aceleaşi ferestre deschise zilnic şi versiunea veche cred că s-a blocat o singură dată. Vom vedea, dacă mai apare ceva revin cu detalii.

Cu cele 9 tab-uri pe care la am eu la Speed Dial mie îmi stă pe la 90-92 MB; mă întreb dacă nu cumva varianta asta se bazează mai mult pe RAM decît pe hard pentru cache, îmi face impresia că se mişcă mai repede decît 9.x.

Probabil se mişcă ceva mai repede, eu cel puţin nu prea am sesizat diferenţe. Chrome sau Safari în schimb se mişcă mult mai repede chiar şi faţă de versiunea 10 iar după ele urmează IE8 şi apoi Opera sau FF. În schimb n-a mai crăpat de atunci ci a mers foarte ok. Ca memorie consumată a rămas tot la fel, 3 taburi deschise ocupă ~160Mb din ram.
Am descoperit zilele trecute o chestie interesantă, taburile de sus pot fi afişate ca pictograme dacă măreşti zona în care se află. Dezavantajul e că ia foarte mult din ecran, pe monitorul meu de 20" dă impresia de înghesuială. O  fi şi o chestie de obişnuinţă la stilul vechi, mie totuşi îmi place să văd pagina ca ansamblu, probabil ar fi fost mai util dacă puteam muta bara de sus în lateral, pe monitoarele actuale wide oricum ai spaţiu pe laterale, paginile fiind optimizate în mare să încapă pe o rezoluţie de 1024*768.

S-au inspirat de la Chrome şi au pus tab-urile în bara de sus pentru a mări astfel partea partea utilă a paginii.
