Am incercat sa instalez o versiune mai noua de Directx, dar da eroare.


Log-ul arata cam asa:

Din cate variante am incercat, doar cele din 2007 merg - urmatoarele nu.

Ce versiune de XP folosesti ? SP1, SP2, SP3 ? Cat timp a trecut de la instalare ?

de la instalare au trecut 2-3 saptamani.

Nu. Dupa ce am instalat Xp-ul am instalat o varianta de prin 2007 - asta aveam la indemana. Apoi am luat o varianta ceva mai recenta (din martie 2009), care a dat eroare la instalare - asa ca le-am luat la rand, sa vad care merge.

Tinand cont de faptul ca DirectX e o parte fundamentala a sistemului de operare probabil ar fi recomandata o instalare a winului cu un kit mai recent (SP3). Ar mai fi varianta folosirii de DirectX uninstallere dar risti sa iti busesti mai rau windowsul.

Chestia ciudata e ca la altii cu xp sp2 merge ultimul DirectX fara nici o problema.
Ar putea fi din cauza placii video care e antica ?

Cat de antica e placa video ?
La mine merge fara probleme DirectX 9 ultima versiune in Windows 2000 cu un Matrox G450 16MB.

add_1981, sper ca instalezi DirectX 9, nu 10 :)
Ai cumva antivirus? Incearca sa il dezactivezi mai intai.
Daca tot nu merge, verifica daca ai spyware, iti spune Foxter ce programel e mai bun.
